Dived Fujairah today

Paradise Reef and then Inchcape 10

Paradise Reef takes after its moniker - a paradise.

Saw no less than 10 seahorses.
A pair of baraccuda.
A large and shy cuttlefish.

Plethora of slipper lobster.

Sea snakes as well - a bit too curious for comfort.

While I am indifferent to nudibranch, they're always good photo subjects:

That is awesome indeed. In my three years of diving out of east coast UAE, almost every weekend, never saw a single seahorse or sea snake, not one!!

Your nautical stars may not have aligned

I've reached a point where I say

Ooh no, not another bloody sea horse.

Sea snakes I've never seen up north where I usually dive(d)

But today I saw seven.

Sea first

Kalba where Paradise Reef is located is a breeding ground for banded sea kraits.

So this weekend the stars aligned and I eventually met up with @hedonist222 :)

Nice to meet him and I guess he's going to become a regular at Barracuda.

This weekend was special as one of my best buddies Ernie is retiring and this was his last weekend diving the east coast. We had a bit of a farewell meal with the Barracuda staff and a very fancy cake

We did two dives on the purple patch of Paradise Reef, and one on Car Cemetery 2 on the Friday and today Deep Reef and Inchcape 10.

A plethora of seahorses on Paradise Reef, there must be a whole herd of them in that area.

Today diving with @hedonist222 we came across a very large slipper lobster

The second dive today on Inch 10 was more or less same old stuff, nothing special although a couple of Hypselodoris infucata were procreating

Can't beat a bit of nudi porn :rofl3:

Temps are warming up now, with a distinct thermocline at 10m, but still 23C on the bottom for both the first dives yesterday and today.

Is that why you stayed behind an extra fifteen minutes after us?

Yes, our stars aligned.
Was lovely diving with you!

Hi folks! I just managed to get a day off here in Dibba, although to late to have any divecentres to dive with.
If I get (very) lucky, I can go diving tomorrow. Which operator would you all recommend? I spoke with loads today trying to secure a night dive, and everyone seemed very friendly.

Edit:Typo
