Hi, I'm on vacation in the bahamas and Disney world and plan on an OW course when i get home. I'm already hooked on snorkeling and can't wait to get scuba certified. I had an experience at Typhoon Lagoon water park at orlando. They allow you to float in an aquarium area wearing a BC I guess and using a regulator and a bottle of air about the size of a 2 liter bottle. There was no diving below the surface but I had a blast. It was weird getting used to both inhaling and exhaling out of your mouth. I thought it would be good practice. I noticed that my mouth and throat got dry during the process.

Hey, Im proud.........I actually can tell you why your mouth and throat got dry. ( Me with my two whole lessons) The air in the tank has no moisture in it, it is all dry air.
