TX APEKS on sale.......CHEAP!!!!

I just ordered mine... fortunately for me, I'm still using yoke.

ummm.... What did you order? The prices went back up a couple days ago... now they don't even list tx's on the site. The only thing I see listed is a tx40/50 1st stage (DST 1st) with no second for $133.43.

unless I'm missing something.

I just ordered the TX40 first stage. Still a great deal, and this way I can swap my Genesis first stage over for use on the pony bottle I'll be getting soon.

then I won't tell you that I got the ds4 1st w/ tx40 second for the same price last week

and I probably won't even show you the nice blue color of the second when we dive this sat.

Bought the DS4 + TX40, and a TX40 "octo" from DiveInn.

Holy ****.

Did I say ****? I meant ************.

So.. um... anyway. It's absolutely wonderful. I thought my Brut was entirely decent... I had no idea a reg could be this good.

I didn't much like the breathing when the venturi knob was fully open.. a little too much positive pressure (putting the venturi on plus and pressing the purge button on the surface gives a nice show). Leaving it about halfway open.. effortless. I tried my best to get it to breathe harder.. weird positions, quick panicked breaths.. none of it worked. It always gave just the air I wanted. And it was *totally* dry the entire time (!).

I'm sufficiently impressed. And so were my buddies when we did our S-drill
