Two New SCUBA boys!

Hi Folks. I would just like to say hi! My 13 year old son and I have just joined the global SCUBA club and got our PADI OW Certification. We live in England on the North East Coast, we now want to continue to dive so I guess we need to get used to cold water diving! We have only dived in Cyprus and Tunisia so far.
We are going to Nanaimo in BC Canada in the summer and hopefully diving there.
Learning all the lingo is proving interesting. I would like to eventually own some equipment but I need to see what it's like diving in the north sea with a wet suit.

Hi Mike, and welcome to scubaboard. I"ve also joined into diving recently with my 13 yr old son. We both love it although it's mostly warm water. your right, so much to learn, and purchase! I hope you enjoy canada, let us know how it goes. We're going to cozumel in july and counting the days.
