My main BCD is a Zeagle stilleto which I love but I do like to go to Cozumel about twice a year and am thinking about leaving a complete set of dive gear there so I don't have to worry about hauling everything back and forth especially with airline weight restrictions changing. So, assuming both of these are in comparable condition which should I take and then leave down there? (The storage will be at a reputable dive shop and includes regulator servicing, not a bad deal for 100 bucks/year)
A. Beuchat masterlift equalizer
B. IHK Ocean guide
Yeah, both are traditional jacket types but I don't want to leave my Zeagle behind.

Have you considered the Zeagle Express Tech standard or the Deluxe Model with the rip cord weight system? It is small, light, back inflate, very comfortable, very adjustable, customizable and inexpensive.

I have a Ranger but got an ET for travel. I liked it so much that I put my 44# wing from my Ranger on it and dive it all the time up here in Minnesota where I need about 28# of lead.

Check this thread for more information.

If I had the means then yes, I would definitely consider that but I have to make do with what I have here now. Since I will be leaving it all there and I don't want to part with my "good stuff" and of course my money tree just ain't growin' fast enough to buy a duplicate set of what I really like, well, I just have to go with what I got. Believe me, as soon as I get my latest rig set up (doubles, backplate, etc.) the Zeagle will get a new home in Cozumel and I will of course be dropping by to visit it a few times a year.
