I have an 8mm two piece semi dry, so that is 16mm,
on the jacket. I need 15 kg, or 34 lbs, so i'm eye level,
at the surface.
ankle weights, give me a bad aspect !, and i don't have
an integrated stab. The belt i have is pretty hard to close, so i thought i might try using two belts.

Murt,
Ireland.

I use two belts all the time and think the're fine. Much easier to close, and they are easy to release, just in case.
I can get all the weight exactly whrer I want it, like on my back, coz I use a wing, and get more air in the wing when on the surface.
i like being hoisted out of the water on the surface.
and i can't put as much air in the wing if the weights are back, sides and front- i get tipped forward.

Yep, your right. i'd love to use one, but i have this thing about being choked I hate the idea of the neck seal. even shirt and ties that'r too tight, i'll pull them off. weird i know but thats it.

...i have this thing about being choked ...
I have a 22" neck, I share your dislike of collars & ties. However, I find a properly trimmed neck seal is comfy enough to wear 10-12 hours straight. Neoprene seals are more comfy than latex, for me anyway.
How about a nice heavy backplate to take up some of that weight?

I can't make up my mind about getting a seac sub pro 3000, or a trans pac II. alot of people would probably say no competition, transpac II, but i like the pro, so i'm going to try before i buy.
The backplate is a great idea though, i don't know if i can fit a backplate to a pro 3000.
I have an old buddy slimline at the moment.
I might bite the bullet and try a friends drysuit, might turn out to be not so bad. (being choked that is!)
