Are ScubaPro Twin Jets still compatable with spring straps? I thought I read somewhere that ScubaPro was going to replace the traditional finstrap design with a quickrelease buckle version...

I have them on my twin jets, and they work great! The only problem is with the sizing. 12" is WAY too tight on the Achilles tendon for me. I am working on an alternative that will make spring straps far more customizable as well as workable. Look for my description here, when I work the bugs out. (I have already made a set, but figure the manufacturing portion would be too much for most people).

I saw a website explaining how someone did this... not sure if it was posted here or not. Actual step-by-step photos explaining how to make your own, right down to the gauge and length of spring needed (and where to order it from). If I re-find it I will post it here.

Hmmm, well here's the one I was thinking of but it's for Jets, not Twin Jets. Should still work though...
