hey Les; been there a few times in the last month...going in towards the float dock, drop to 40ft, follow topography on left, slow swim approx.15min and you'll come to a bit of a cove,,,hopefully you'll find the resident wolf eel...all around a good site, have seen quite a few small octos as well.good luck...
 
From the beach you'll see two islands. All the good stuff is on the back-side of these islands:

North (right) island: A sloping rocky bottom, down to about 80'. Lots to see, including the odd seal. Best for beginners as the sloping bottom makes bouyancy control easier. In my opinion it is also the better dive, as more life was spooted here.


South (left) island: Vertical wall, in some points as deep as 130' (I've heard, I've only followed it down to ~100'). Not as much life as on the north island, but of more interest for those who like to go deep.
