I know a guy who works at a dive shop, I wanted a split fin for snorkeling without getting sore legs. I wanted the Atomic split but they didn't have my size and the Tusa looked very good and well made and was also available in my size and he highly recommended the Tusa so I bought them.
I am however concerned about the 27 degree angle of the Tusa since most of my activity will be on the surface, I have not used them yet but I am not sure if he can get the Atomic Split fin in for me. I hear nothing but praise for the Atomic on forums like this but mixed reaction to the Tusa (but that is the older Tusa SF-8 which I have read mixed reaction to)
How do the two fins compare? Bearing in mind that these Tusas are the latest SF-15 version not the older SF-8 version.
Has anyone had experience with both fins?
I know only I can make the decision but once I've used them changing them is not as easy (nor fair on the shop either)
