Well,
I saw it for arounf 200 in a console with a spg and compass.

I'm more concerned about the quality, and usefullness of this computer. I haven't heard anything about tusa computers.

I am by no means an expert on computers, I don't even dive with one yet, but I have been looking at them lately. I am preparing to go to Purto Vallarta on Vacation and thought it would be a nice time to get one.

I first saw the Tusa IQ 400 in an E-mail ad in the junk E-mail I get from discount divers. They have at there sale price of $179.

I know someone who uses this model and he really likes it but you need to figure out what you want or need in a computer before making a choice.

The IQ 400 is a little concervitive but thats good for most begining and Intermidiant divers. A couple of things you might remember when this computer is you can't down load profiles to your PC. and you can't use it for Nitrox. These are both nice features, but do you need them? If so tusa and some other manufacters have models with theses features for apx. 100 more dollars.

Anouther concideration is to go with the wrist mount over the consul mount. I know the consul is more conveniant but latter you might want to upgrade to a unit with more features and by having the wrist mount you can use both so you don't have to end your dive and wait 24 hours if something happens to one.

Good luck

The IQ-400 is actually a rebadged Suunto Favor, so I would guess that the IQ-600 is also another company's computer with a Tusa label on it. The IQ-600 doesn't look like a Suunto in the picture, but if you can find out who makes it you can probably get more opinions on it. Sorry that's about all I know

Good luck,

Chris
