Tusa duo purge cover

Want to pull the purge cover on my Gen 1 Tusa Duo. I pushed the pin out but cannot spin off the cover. I can't seem to find the specific tool. Is there any tricks to spin it off without a tool ?

Well a certain person I am familiar with, has used two flat head screw drivers, and carefully inserted on opposing slots, made them into an X configuration and then spun the cover off. He also has ruined at least one diaphragm with this stupid idea.
