Have you noticed that if you make initial eye contact with them and seem interested they invariably split. But if you avoid eye contact and pretend not to pay attention to them they are offended and you literally can't get rid of them for the rest of the dive :).

Gorgeous shot! That turtle appears to be just a bit on the eccentric side - but looks are often deceiving :D

Absolutely not kidding. Try it sometime. I think they consider the initial eye contact to be threatening. But if you ignore them their curiosity gets the better of them and they can't resist you. Once it becomes "their" idea, you can have your way with them and look as much as you want :)
