I'm a Fish!
A tunicate is a marine invertebrate animal, a member of the subphylum Tunicata, which is part of the Chordata, a phylum which includes all animals with dorsal nerve cords and notochords. Wikipedia A Tunicate is a filter feeder that takes seawater in and filters out the planktonic partials for food.
So next time you’re cruising the reef on your dive, or even better, during your next visit to Maluku Divers, don’t just swim search for the rarest of rare critters. Remember to check out every kind of habitat that you find, and if you see some, take a look inside any beautiful tunicates to see what might be hiding within.

We also see blennies sitting on tunicates, in some cases protecting their eggs, look closely at this image and you’ll notice that this tunicate also has eggs on it.
