We were in Tulum last fall. Drove out to the airport and it is about 30 minutes from Tulum. Didn’t go into the airport but I looked very nice. My understanding the taxis were charging the same for 30 minutes of driving as the private shuttles from Cancun to Tulum were. Would rather drive/ride 30 minutes instead of 90 minutes but don’t want to support the taxis charging that unfair amount.
