S10--Welcome to SB! Take Hinterman's advice, dive with Liberty Dive. We are back for the 3d time with them next month and the reason we return is because LDR makes diving there simple and safe. You want a place with good guides and a smooth running operation, LDR has their act together for divers.

Do you stay here too, or just dive with them?

Oh, ya gotta stay there. They make it much too easy not to but then again, Bali is like that. The older area "standard rooms" are $50 US (for the room, not per person) and they are very decent. A/C, pool, quiet. The new area is pretty exceptional though, the view I had of Mt Agung from my porch last November was worth the price of admission. And the groundskeeper takes a most loving approach to his calling. // ww
