I wonder if these guys are kin to Damsels? They are very protective if these nesting pits....

Mars2u...I've still never seen a live crawfish in our lake!
Thanks Dee. Actually they are hard to spot even at Beaver Lake. I scuba dived there 3 weeks ago and spotted 2 underneath some steps where a house used to be (it's a manmade lake). One was little less than a foot! Really surprised me how big they get.
