Even if it's true, that's no excuse. I've heard Filipinos say derogatory things about their own countrymen, but as a non-Filipino that doesn't give me license to repeat them and perpetuate negative stereotypes.

To get back to Liberty's original question, my experience at Tubbataha was that most of the dives (and most of the big stuff) were at less than 30 meters, that there was little current and that there was never a need for a negative entry.
