I will check on them.

Prior to Covid, the dive operations manager was ammeniable to divers not staying at CBBR. He was a rebreather diver, possibly an instructor and was trying to build that program. They had limited supplies of o2 because of that. We had rented tanks and used them for boat diving a number of times. I believe he left during Covid.

Post Covid, they have declined to rent tanks to other divers. I think that there is a thread somewhere in this forum on that.

Things are looking good for us getting 02. We have been in communication with the owner of Pure Air. The prices are reasonable per Cayman standards. We are now just working on ensure the transportation logistics work out.

Thanks to everyone who replied.

Another update in the event that anyone tries to do this.

We have been able to contact PureAir on Grand Cayman. The owner Tyler is who you need to speak with.

They are putting the o2 cylinder on the barge and we are suppose to access it from their dealer on Cayman Brac who is the western auto store. I am not sure where that is, but it can't be that hard to find.

So, with any luck, we will be able to do some technical diving on Cayman Brac on our 3-10 May trip.

Next time, I may try to get some Helium too.

Are there any welders on Cayman Brac?
