tee hee... well, Jill Heinerth I'm definately not...
------------------------

exerpt from interview about filming of "the cave":

IGN: So you actually appear in the movie.

Heinerth: Yeah, as a double. I actually doubled for a lot of the guys in the film. [Laughs] Your basic Hollywood woman is about 90 pounds soaking wet, and your basic cave diver isn't.

LOL!

Jill gets it DONE. She isn't wimpy by any means.

Hey...back to the original question...

I just previewed the Mares She Dives BCD today. Wow. I'm impressed. I have a hard time finding a BCD that fits because I AM short torsoed and have a chest.

The Kaila BCD by Mares fit great. 20# of releasable weight and up to 10# non-releasable trim weight in the bladder. 36 - 41 pounds of lift...its a stellar BCD. Rear inflate...lots of d-rings.

I think I'm getting new gear.

Alas, I've also decided to look into getting doubles.

Guess that means two new BCD's.

:D

If you are going to dive doubles, save yourself the trouble of buying 2 BCD's and just get a BP/W. Seriously. Fit will NEVER be an issue.

Perrone's advice is REALLY worth considering. You can get one BP, and a singles wing and doubles wing, for less than the cost of buying 2 BCs. Many people like to dive with the same rig for both, not only does it save money, but won't have to get used to 2 different BCs and the differences between them.
