Question: Where can you touch Europe and North America at the same time?

Answer: In the Silfra fissure, underwater in Iceland, about an hour’s drive from Reykjavik.

Answer is below…..

It’s reachable with a wet-suit scuba dive to about 200 feet deep. The tectonic plate of North America is on one side, and the Eurasian tectonic plate is on the other, just feet apart.

Wet-suit diving in Iceland?!
They use dry suits for diving or snorkeling. You get a checkout on use of the dry suits, but I have no idea how detailed the instruction might be. The water is 34-39 F year round.

The guy in that video is just a spoiler…or wannabe spoiler.

For every YouTube clickbait artist who attempts to debunk this cool place, there are 20 legitimate people who confirm that the Silfra fissure is exactly what Iceland and the rest of the world claims it is.
