About to take the plunge (groan...) and wish to purchase one of these. Have read some comments about Triple-L sizing and would like to know if a Large or a Medium would fit better.

I'm 6', 210, 43" chest, 38" waist, I'm a Leo, and I enjoy long walks on short piers...

According to the chart, the Large is spot on, but based on other comments here (mainly about the similar Orion), might need to go Medium. Also, is the crotch strap recommended??

Hey, It is me who post about Pegasus BCD. Yes, their size runs larger. If you think that a large size is in your body fit, go to a medium... Guess what, how I knew it...

As to the crotch strap, there is no particular crotch strip for Pegasus BCD, but it is not the bad idea to apply the Orion strap to Pegasus.

Was just informed by Jack Cummins that Triple-L has revised their sizing charts to adjust for the discrepancies mentioned on this forum.

Also one more quick question, What is the major difference between the Orion and the Pegasus? The only thing I noticed was the amount of D-Rings available and there are some extra weight pockets on the Orion. Thanks again

The main difference are

1. Orion has a choice for single and double bladder shoice, Pegasus doesn't - major difference,
2. Orion has a cummerband, Pegasus doesn't
3. Orion has its own crotch strap, Pegaus doesn't
4. Pegasus has a small size, Orion doesn't at least when I purchased.

Whatelse, hmm~~~ Nothing pops up in my head!

Thanks for the links. I hadn't seen those pictures before I guess I was looking at a different area of there website. I spoke with Jack Cummings from Triple-L and he says they are out of stock on the Large Orions and they should be getting some in about 30 days. I think I'm going to wait for the Orion vs. getting the Pegasus. I like the cummerbund, crotch strap, extra weight pockets & D-rings. Thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry again for hijacking the post. Happy Diving!

No need to apologize Danny...I appreciate the info on the Orion availability as I am now thinking I may just part with the extra dosh and get the extra features.

Cheers! :monkeydan
