OK ,Trina & I are signed up for this trip. For those that are going what mix are you planning on using? 90fsw I am thinking 34, I would do 36, but I go conservative with my wife in the mix.

My log has 95 ft at where we were, with a few dips from there. I have 2 bottles with 30 in it (originally for the Eureka) I will probably go 32% for the other bottles. At the depth, consumption is 4 times higher, so most dives are controlled by amount of air as opposed to NDLs. And with that knowledge, if your local charges extra above x percent-its not worth it. (At least in my opinion) So, my take is- how long does your tank last at 30 ft. Double it. Then divide that amount by 4. That is about the length you will get. Now look at the NDL for the mix. Now remember, ALWAYS plan for everything to go wrong, and your buddy to need to ascend on your air. Now rethink those NDLs. Just to let you know, I am extremely conservative on diving. The NDL on air is 20 minutes. on 32% it is 30 minutes. On 36%, it is 35 minutes, and a partial of 1.45. To hit the NDL on 32%, your tank must last 1 full hour at 33 ft. Plus safety stop. I hope this helps you make a decision, and, all the reminders are just 'cause I don't always remember all the ifs and whatnots....and I know I am not alone.
