'Leaving for Bahamas very soon (Explorer Ventures) & wonder what your average bottom temp's were, as you mentioned it was cooler than you expected.

While folks are often surprised by the coolness of Bahamas (and South Florida) waters in the winter and early spring (they dip down to the low 70's and sometimes a tad lower),you'll find the water temps in the low 80's now and they'll climb up to the mid to high 80's by late July / early August. How that translates to wet suit thickness is, of course, a matter of individual taste.
