Your cenote pics are great... makes me wanna go back! I dove the Kukulkan, Chac Mool, and Taj Maha cenotes and they were all incredible dives. Hopefully this year I'll get back there again, but if not, definitely next.

BTW, buck fifty seems mighty proud for 2 tanks, but I guess that's curise ship prices. I'm personally sticking to land based dive trips from now on. (my own curise ship dive experience was less than optimal.)

Thats Great! Trust me your diversion was better than hitting GC. They would have only been there long enough to get you off the boat and back on again so it sounds like you got better shore time which equals more dive time which is a good thing :)

Hey, can anyone ID that "fanged" fish in my pictures?

D.

Yep. I think it's a Tiger Grouper too. I really like the Sargassum Trigger. I seldom see those anywhere but Cozumel.

SAME CRUISE different result...

HI Daylon, Desiree from Tank-Ha here, I checked out your "vampire" fish and it looks like it might be a Redspotted Hawkfish. Its size reaches less than four inches.

keep blowing bubbles...

Very nice write up. My fiancee and I took the same trip, only we went to Princess' private island instead of Belize (would have rather gone to Belize). We dove Majahaul, and totally understand the heat issues and back rolls. My fiance and I both puked our guts out when we surfaced form the first dive (and no, we're NOT newbies). We also got blown out of our dives in Cayman and were so pissed we didnt get to dive that we just started drinking at 10am.

Thanks for the pics. I love them.

We did that trip last summer and had a great time. Having now done some 21 cruises, it seems to me that unless you go during one of the holiday periods (spring break, summer, or winter break), you'll get a disproportionately large number of elderly passengers. At spring break, the average is something like 23.
