Sue and I were recently forced to return to Colorado after 10 days soaking up the sun and diving in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. We did 14 dives in 6 days with Alvaro from AlwaysDiving.com and cannot say enough good things about him. We also had one two-tank day planned with Ben and Jorge from ScorpioDivers but sadly had to cancel at the last minute. We hope to dive with them on our next visit.

The sites we dove were Chitales, San Martin, Black Tip, Tiburones, Horseshoe, Granpin, The Arch, The Aquarium, Heads, Maroma and Chac Mool.

Conditions were perfect. Seas were smooth, I don't think viz was ever less than 50 feet, and even on our deepest dive (106 feet on The Arch) the water was 81 degrees. Sea life was abundant. The only downside was the six Lionfish we saw. Sadly, we had nothing with us to kill the beasts, but next time...

If I understand how to do this, you should be able to see some videos I've placed on YouTube. Amateurish, I know, but I make do. :)
