Mike Veitch:
what Spoon didn't bring the giant HD???

The camera is in the shoup. one of the cases' control buttons is busted we are trying to have it fixed here but no success. apparently the only guy who can fix it is in palau.

chip104:
nope, just something I found on google. The one we saw was the size of your palm. We watched it for 10 mins. It was feeding on the fry - it would slowly move close to a fry and then slowly extend it's tentacle at first, then ZOOM! - it would fire then whip it back to it's mouth.

Pretty awesome seeing it. If we had a video cam we could have solicited it to Nat Geo for some money.

yeah!!! i saw it a mile away it really looked like a baby alien. i then proceeded to trying to call your freaking attention for 5 mins before you looked. i have seen a lot of weird things but this little guy defintely takes the cake!!! im pretty pissed of becasue i dint bring the camera down. i could bring it down 1000 times and wouldnt find one ever again. we are pretty darn lucky i know people that have been diving anilao for decades and havent seen a flamboyant cuttlefish EVER.

Spoon:
just one of those things. in fact chip saw tiny trickles of water slowly dribble into the casing but dint tel larry becasue he thought it was cool in his narced state:D LOL J/K i guess its one of those things. btw mons dad had a small sony digicam with gates housing which he flooded recently becasue one of the buttons was loose, he meticulously does predive checks ALL the time but lthe ocean has its ways with getting back at you.

Ok this resolves my dilemna on whether or not to get a new camera.. I hope someone just gives it to me as a gift or I find a set floating in the ocean someday.

Yeah, that first dive was interesting. Holding Moonie at 85ft against a wall, watching Chip fiddle with the cam, then fiddle some more and more and more and ...

I liked the third dive best though, even though it killed my sinuses. I would have liked to have gotten a pic of that tiny clown fish.

Chip, want to play with the map? put an X where you got narced and we'll name it Chip's Bar:D

glad everybody got away unscathed...

So sorry for Larry's Oly.

I'll take a guess, down current was at splitting headache? :)

midwestdvr:
Man, I keep hearing about this wicked currents in anilao. Makes me want to go diving there on my next visit :D.

its not so bad, its just more difficult with a big group, things start to fall apart faster. currents in gallera much stroner imho
