Nice work- it's tough to sound like a macho tech diver breathing the goof gas.

Who are you taking the advanced wreck class with and when?

Good questions,,,, I had planned on completing my Adv. Wreck this Aug. ends,,,,but it looks like I will be better off holding till next year. I have interviewed 3 TDI instructors,,,2 in WI. and one in MN.. I am leaning towards one of the fellows in WI.. He is usually booked a year in advance,,,,spec. in Trimix divers doing deep full penetration runs. The program is 6 days long.....classroom-1 day/pool-1 day and 3 seperate wreck sites-4 days...costing about $1300. He has a slot avlb. for next seasons class so I will be needing to place a deposit soon. Help$$$$$$$$!!!

Congratulation...what is you next tech penetration wreck dive or tech CC rebreather

Jason,,,, at some point I would love to give a try to a CC unit,,,,I have only read and visited with a few divers who have them......I see from your bio this is something you do....that is kool! For now my efforts will mainly remain in OC diving.....though if given a chance I would love to try the CC gear!

I'm sure you love CCR instead OC....especially tech trimix dives.:D

Not sure about y'all. I finished up my advanced trimix class this past month, but I went into the class not really expecting to learn anything new as I was pretty clear on the subject prior to starting the class. I bought all texts....tdi, iantd, padi, etc. Devoured them and read and read and read and read books/internet articles. Theory wise I do not think that I learned that much from the instructor that I didn't teach myself. What I did value is a little company/supervision at 330 feet for 25 min or so(and of course all the deco to follow).

I would be very interested in your dive profile and gases and partc. interested in your CNS clock info. based on your deco gases,,,,330' for 25 minutes of bt., plus deco....

Congrats!! I would definitely like to hear more details!!!!
