You guys were so professional and good to deal with that I am a fan of your gear. Consequently, I bought my son a Tri-metal reg and he used it for the first time over the past week for 17 dives in the Bahamas. We were on a live-aboard and didnt rinse our gear until we returned home.
My question is, is that reg primarily made for fresh water instead of salt? The logo painted on the reg is almost completely worn off and I am wondering if the salt water effected the metals on the inside?
He said it breathed easy and he had no problems. Of course, we rinsed it well with all the rest of our gear. So, is it good to go for our next venture or should he have it checked out?
Also, I had a retractor for my compass and the bar over the hook is rusted. It too is new and was only used over the past week.
