Trident Warranty

Does anybody know if Trident offers any type of warranty on their products?

I bought a compass w/ a retractor about 6 months ago and the retractor crapped out on me this weekend. The internal spring attaches to a notch in the plastic housing, but the plastic notch stripped out.

Any suggestions appreciated,

Ditch the retractor and put the compass in a wrist boot.

I wrote them at that adress this morning and they just replied that they would repair/replace it, but it has to go thru the shop that it was bought at. Back it goes...

Something funny... the person who replied to my email was...Lowell Dreyfus, C.E.O. of Trident. lol
