Anyone dive it or know if it can be dived?

Any place can be dived! Just is it legal and safe. Call the MD dept of natural resources or whoever has jurisdiction and see if it's ok with them. Where is it located?

The reservoir is maintained as a drinking water source by the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC).
Based on this fact, I doubt they allow diving in it. I'm unaware of any drinking water supplies where swimming or diving is allowed... but then again... it may not hurt to ask the WSSC.
I just called and they said no diving, swimming or power boating. RATS

The fishing is good there!
Nothing to do with diving I know. Most of all the lakes in the Montgomery/PG/Howard and other counties are all off limits to swimmings and diving. The lake at Black Hills Regional Park in Boyds would be a sweet place to dive but it too is off limits.
