Well, we were tricked into thinking that the Federal government might reopen in time for the hatchery tour this Saturday
, but instead our treat will be a Fall Festival at the Blue Lagoon.
Thats right, on Saturday Oct 19th, well be headed to the Blue Lagoon for some diving and autumnal fun. Arrival time is a little flexible, Ill probably shoot for getting there about noon. Feel free to arrive earlier or later as your schedule permits. Well do a few dives and at 3:00ish, BL staff will be grilling smoked sausage wraps. Bring whatever beverage youd like to enjoy once the divings done for the day.
About 6:00 pm, they will be judging a pumpkin carving contest.
Carve a pumpkin beforehand and bring it with you to enter in the contest. Theyll be giving away some nice prizes as part of the contest.
Cost to get in that day will be $16, paid at the gate. You can bring family or friends but they do ask that all non-divers be accompanied by a diver and max four guests per diver. We have shelter 3 at Lagoon 1 reserved for CHUM.
