So the Pictures below show me and my girlfriends usual pack for a one day dive

There are 9 tanks (4 each and spare for a friend), a Stage cylinder each as redundant air, 2 dive X Sierra scooters and spare batteries 2 Cameras (G15 in Ikelite housings) cool boxes Dive gear and (not seen) dry bag with dry clothes etc - as its a boat trip. Thankfully the dive car still has loads of space.

So this is a typical 4 tank trip for me on a 1 day dive trip (most weeks)

How do other people dive?

In case anyone wonders, The reason some of the tanks are painted pink at the top - it's an on going project The Girlie has the pink I'm having electric blue on mine - its just enamel paint on top of the tank. The rational being that every month we go on a 2 day 7 boat dive trip. With 140 tanks on board its easy to find yours - and even more so at the quayside when you want to load up and get gone ...

I love the painted tank tops! We pack similarly with the exception of the amount of tanks we take on local boat dives. We started with 3 tanks for each because we have 02 clean tanks, now that boats are able to fill for us, luckily, we only have to take one tank each. We make up for the space by taking DSLR camera rigs with us though. :)

There is no travelling light for UK diving, especially if you're car sharing. If I'm going to the sea, I have my twinset, possibly my stage depending on what we're doing for dives, a mesh bag for the boat with things like my fins, weightbelt, regs, dsmbs, masks, etc, drysuit and bag, plus undergarments, and a drybag. If I'm driving anyone else down, they will either have a twinset or 2 single tanks, plus their own kit, Possibly a third set of kit and person in there as well. If we're going away for a weekend, there will be clothes and possibly camping gear and food.

Dude, you are driving, you can take a ton with you. Well, if you would be flying...

I'f I'm flying - Then of course the Scooters and the tanks don't go, but the cameras and our full dive gear goes along - if we have to buy excess baggage so be it as I'd rather use all the stuff I know than rental, and if I were to leave some bits behind to save weight then I know I'd need them.

Weekend trip with two ex-collegues who came over to Dubai, had to hire few tanks from Al Doom

15 AL80s plus two sets of doubles and three sets of gear

Son-------both those back tires are gunna go POP!!..........one day...lol
