Travelling diver wants to dive Santa Rosa Blue Hole March 29/30,2014....

Hi. I'm spending a few days at Santa Rosa Lake state park and looking to dive Blue Hole on March 29th or 30th or both days.

One quick question for the forum. Is solo diving permitted?

It's been several years since I have been there (2002) but I used to solo dive there all the time. I never had any problems except once--I was searching the bottom for dropped objects after an OW class had been there (happens all the time), and some guy dropped in to check on me--he seemed pretty concerned but my no deco time was up right when he got to me so I headed back up.

Don't know if it's permitted since I haven't been there. Don't forget to pay the permit and download the permit form before you get there.

I'm in an RV with no printer so I am unable to take care of the permit before arriving in Santa Rosa.

Since I will be diving on the weekend, I am assuming I can purchase the permit at the on-site dive shop.

Is this the case?

Great have fun! Planning on diving the blue hole but too lazy making the 5 hour drive!
