Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that replied to the thread. Did two dives at Breakwater with Bamboo Reef. Had a great time. Bamboo Reef was wonderful and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. Great experience in a new environment. The kelp was cool to experience. There is so much going on with a tremendous amount of life. Had an encounter with a very "friendly" harbor seal that literally would not leave us alone. He was nibbling on the instructors bc, LP hoses, and dry suit and grabbed another diver's fin. We actually had to deviate the dive plan b/c of him, but it was really cool to see the seal up and very close. Water was definately cold compared to the NC coast a few weeks ago, but not too bad in a 6.5 mm. Thanks again.
