Traveling to Laguna 10/7 - Need dive buddy/info

I will be traveling to Laguna from Texas on 10/6. Will be there a few days, but it looks like 10/7 will be the best day for diving. That's a Saturday. All of my diving has been Gulf coast and Caribbean. I have never been diving in California and would love to add this to the log book. I am looking for a dive buddy or group that will be diving the Laguna area on that day.

Hey Scot, A group that go every Sat. AM is www.southcoastdivers.com and very open to out of towners. But typically the main group does 1 dive then brunch then home. Check out www.lagunaseasports.com for rental if needed. Also, I'm sure that there is always someone heading to the laguna that will gladly let you join in. Might want to check out the option of going out to Catalina for the day also.
