Hello scuba board. This is my first post, but I have a long time reader.

I recently upgraded my camera setup and I didn't realize the size of the housing and associated gear until it arrived at my doorstep. Here is what I have:

Canon G12 and Ikelite housing
2- DS51's with SA-100 arms
Dual handle tray
Ikelite macro lenses adapter and Inon 330 m67 macro lens
Battery charger for both the G12 and NiMh strobe batteries

I am looking for a carrying case/ travel solution for hauling all this gear around. Hoping for a backpack style case, but looking through various websites, there is just too much to pick from and it is hard to see via pics if those cases will work for me.

I am curious to hear what others are using. I do travel a lot, but I will not be checking my camera gear, but instead bringing it as carry on items.

Thanks for the input in advance.

I have a Canon G11 with the Ikelite housing and a single DS51, and was also surprised at the room they take up.

I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions......but when I travel the camera and strobe are in my carry-on, while the housing is in my hardside suitcase wrapped up in my wetsuit.

I have a 50D with Ikelite housing... huge... I bought cheap padded lunch bags and put my strobes and lenses in them and pack it all in a carry on. I put the strobe arms, batteries and chargers in similar bags and stuff them in my luggage. I carry the camera with me.

I take two, yes two DSLR housings and four ds-125/160 strobes when I travel.I use two Storm IM2500 hard cases ,which are carry on, and still need a backpack for miscelaneous items such as ports and lenses.
