I am planning on diving in Bonaire, May 2011. I live in New York, I wanted to buy trip Insurance, but there are so many choices any advice for a reputable Company?

I use TravelSafe as they offer a comprehensive plan with excellent overall benefits for cancellation, delays, property losses, medical coverage, evacuation, etc. Just keep up with all documents and receipts in case you need to file a claim.

Avoid any companies with less than A rating. The island is known for theft problems, and while such are covered, there are exclusions, limits and deductibles to consider.
Insuring the vehicle your rent there should be done from the renting agency tho, otherwise you would have to pay any damages and then file for refunds later. Make sure that theft and vandalism of the vehicle are covered as the island has a problem with such.
