Boy talk about reviving an old thread

I was very surprised to read someone(with one post) suggesting the V-Hire(Van) from the Caltex Station. I strongly suggest that you go use the "official" V-Hire Station which is called CITI Link and is just a little south of the South Bus Terminal. I have never ever heard anyone speak of a V Hire Station at Caltex, and I make the trip from Moalboal to the city no less than once a week. Please dont be the person standing in the middle of the city with all your dive gear waiting for a non-existant van or worse.

Additionally, the going price for a taxi from the airport to Moalboal is 1800-2000 Peso's.

Cheers,
Roger

I just returned from Cebu 6 days ago.

Cebu pier to Moalboal (incl stop at mall for 30 minutes) = 2500 php one way
Tagbilaran to Alona beach = 700 php for van; it was 500 for car.

i suggest you take the v.hire route.. carrying all that gear. you're in no condition to take the local bus.
