Transport from Airport: Private or shared?

Difference in price for 5 people will be about $ 30/- between private and communal.

I would pay sooooo much more than that these days to avoid having even one coughing unvaccinated, non-mask-wearing person stuffed into the van.

Back in the day when we did use the airport vans, I really don't think the shared vans took appreciably longer to get to wherever we were staying than a private one would have taken. The drivers want to get everyone dropped off and get back to the airport as fast as possible.

Tomorrow we're using cvchief's Van Guy® to get from CUN to the Playa muelle fiscal. it's roughly double what the bus would cost for the two of us. That's $25 well-spent.
