Can I buy a transpac with a rec wing and use it for singles and doubles or should I buy a travel wing and classic wing?

I bought the Transpac II with a Rec wing because it CAN be used with both singles and doubles. I just cinch up the gusset cord for use with singles. I haven't used it with doubles yet, but the owner of my LDS and one of his DMs use the same setup with doubles (actually they use the dual rec wings but the lift is the same).

I've used my Rec wing with double 104s and it leaves you wanting at the surface. It will float you but it's not optimal. I ditched it in favor of the classic wing for the doubles set up.

I used to own a TP II (w/RecWing). Used it with singles, took my intro to cave with it and loved it. Then went to doubles found out as Cd_in_SeaTac that it was "wanting" as well. Also found the TPII not too stable with doubles. Sold the TPII (RecWing) when I started diving doubles 7 years later I now own 2 wings 1 for doubles and 1 "O" shaped wing for singles. If you go DiveRite, I would suggest getting a Venture for Singles and a Classic for doubles. You can always buy a BP later if you decide to. The TPII does make a really good harness for those trips down south.
