I have a Transpac II which I have loved diving with. I am thinking about going to a double tank set up, so my question is, if i use the stab mounts will i be able to use the transpac II or should i just fork out the big bucks for a different set up and keep the transpack II for singles only?

how did you set it up? did you use the stab mounts for it?

Hi,

You'll definitely want the stab plates if you'll be diving your TPAC with double tanks. The stab plates help the soft backplate of the TPAC conform into the channel that is between the two tanks. A metal plate is automatically molded to fit this channel, therefore the stab plates take on that function.

There is no reason to purchase a different harness. The TPAC is an excellent doubles harness.

Let me know if you have further questions,
Kathleen
