Anyway - I forget where you are - but you should have opportunity every so often - I live in an area where a DIR-F class is taught every weekend - so I'm spoiled...

There's a DIRF class in Detroit (Farmington) July 12-14. I'll be there as well as Detroit Diver. The class is filling up quick.

Read and dive, even tead while diving. Boards like this can be handy with specific questions, but it's best to build a foundation by reading on your own first (IMHO). I've seen quite a few people who got on a message board and heard some catch-phrases and now think they can do any dive in the world.
Good luck and enjoy the groundwork. In a few years you will have some great questions.
