Was there the night of 8/1. We missed the tide by a few and about 8-9 of us got sucked under the bridge and had to walk back from the marina up river.. Just watch the currents near the bridge.. :wavey:

Actually sounds like you were early. If you waited a bit you should have been able to ride the tide back out.
We timed it perfect on 4th of July, crossed under the bridge right at slack. We were actually able to swim aroun between the pilings. Then explored the side by the marina for a bit, and road the tide back to our entry point when it changed.
