Yesterday in Katowice - Southern Poland - a roof of International Fair Hall collapsed.
65 already found dead, more that 140 injured. Not only POles, also Chechs, Slovacs, German, Belgian and Dutch.
It was the day of pigons fair. At the moment of catastrophy there were around 1000 people. According to the rescuers chances of finding anybody still alive are close to zero. The accident took place in the late afternoon, during the night temperature dropped to minus 15 Centigrades (5 F).
Probable reason for the catastrophy was snow lying on the roof.
We have a National Mourning Day today.

It's very sad. I saw it on the news this morning. At first they said it was blamed on snow on the roof - but later said that actually there wasn't much snow there so are now looking at construction faults.

Very sad...I saw it on HK new this morning.....roof over weight..tragedy
