Hello Peeps,

Big sorry if this has been discussed a thousand times before. I plan to go to Honduras(roatan) and stay and learn to dive for 3 -6 months and gain as much experience and hopefully stick around work permitting..

My question is whether it's safe to travel to Central America and has trade dropped off at all since the flu crisis. Whether it's viable to go all the way over there from the UK and business has slowed to the point where they may not be employing due to lack of tourism.

Don't mean to offend if all is well over there. I am really eager to buy my ticket and go!

Not a thousand times, but just once: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/bay-islands/282699-swine-flu.html <- El Linko Clicko

Everything is fine, have a pork chop.

If you are coming to work, that is an entirely different question, more in the department of finance and economics. Go to the Bay Islands forum, do a :search: and if you don't see information on current job situation, place a well worded post there and you may well attract the attention of a hiring party.
