Can you guys recommend me top 3 snorkeling locations and restaurants in Cozumel?

I'll be staying at Park Royal for 8 days. Scuba diving with Aldora and getting a car with Isis.

Any other suggestions for first timer in Cozumel?

Across the street at tikila, At sunsets, At bucanaos, At blue angel, At money bar, At what used to be called love bar, etc

Snorkeling right in front of Villa Aldora is as good as it gets on the island. You will be welcomed there if diving with Aldora. You can just step off the boat with the people that are staying at the Villa and taxi back to Park Royal post snorkel. Large Palapa, hammocks, bathroom, freshwater shower, Pool. There are menus up in the breezeway. Ask Brent or Debbie for menus if they are not out. There are many good places to eat. We like Guido's, El Moro, La Perlita has two for one Lion Fish dishes on Thursday's, depends what you want to eat. You can get a great post dive lunch at La Condella (not open for dinner).
Have fun! I wish I was there...

I don't really snorkel, but we dive in front of Villa Aldora. It's 15 feet max, so you can get a similar experience snorkeling. We see all kinds of critters there. It's a sandy bottom off the ironshore, so you don't see much coral, but it's fun. Top three restaurants from our last trip were Del Sur (great empañadas and good grilled dishes), El Pique (great tacos), and Los Otates (good tacos and pozole).

Restaurants:

+1 El Moro (I love the family, vintage setting, awesome food - and the shot at the end isn't Tequilla!)
+1 La Perlita (but maybe go when its busy, we went on a slow week night once and they didn't have as many fish choices)
+1 Guido's (always good, awesome atmosphere, definitely make reservations even if a smaller group or you'll be waiting 30 minutes or more)

Casa Dennis (I always go several times, great local food and been around for years, awesome Strawberry Daiquiri if you've had your fill of Margarita's)
Rock'N'Java (I love this little restaurant, not your typical local restaurant but great fish tacos and fish platter and good clean western food it someone needs a burger)
Casa La Mission (always nice, its the one way back in town I'd recommend reservations if you are over 4 people).

Kinta
Kondesa
Pancho's Backyard
La Teraza
La Cocay
Buccano's
'Ohana
Especias
El Moro
La Perlita
Blue Angel
Le Chef
La Choza
Camillo's

That's more than three, isn't it? :D

Top 3 Restaurants ... Buccanos at Night, Le Chef, O'Hana Bar ... other great choices: La Terrazza, Woody's, Rock'n Java, Rock'n Java Noodle Bar, Pancho's Backyard, El Moro, Le Hatch, Ernesto's Fajita Factory, Casa Denis, Rastas/Bob Marley's/The Freedom Bar (whatever you call it), The Pub, The Museum ...

Top 3 snorkel locations, I'm assuming from shore: Playa Corona, Just south of the Papa Hogs area, I've heard there is a new day beach just south of Playa Corona that has pretty good snorkeling.

Ditto every restaurant listed by ggunn, and add Pescaderia San Carlos - great little locally owne seafood restaurant open for lunch. I always schedule Saturday lunch there, to get the Sopa de Mariscos, and Sunday afternoon at El Moro for the Cochinita Pibil.

All very good suggestions above.

I'll just add The Sky Reef Beach club - new, just a little bit south from Playa Corona - excellent snorkeling here and they've built a nice little pier with a ladder for easy in and out of the water. Really nice place and great staff as well! Nice place to spend the day or afternoon - they have full bar and food as well :)

Bypassing all my favorites, El Moro, Kinta, etc, let me second Christi's recommendation of Sky Reef. I am sure the snorkeling is great as it is right next to Playa Corona.

I CAN say they make a good margarita and by good i mean preparado para adultos. The nachos are great. Food is very good. They also do peanut butter tequila!
