Juvenile sweetlips, the move so much it is difficult to focus on them.

Pygmy seahorse from Anilao, Philippines

Amazing picture. How many times would a person be looking right at that seahorse and never see it.

I had such an amazing time looking throught everyone's photos.

Here are some of mine, all unedited straight from the camera (S100).
As it is only my second time taking underwater pictures, please bear with the pics!

All taken during a LOB to Raja Ampat in Nov.

I did a lot more blue/blackwater diving in 2013 than anything else.

Here, a mahi hides under my company's tender vessel on a pelagic aquaculture project.

A pair of rough-toothed dolphins got pretty curious with us freedivers one day 6 miles offshore.

An undescribed pelagic octopus we observed on a blackwater (pelagic night) dive.

I included this Male Kelp Greenling only because it was on the first roll of film I've ever shot underwater. My D300 housing is in the shop right now and I've been playing with a Nikon F100 in a NX100 pro housing with one YS-110 strobe. This was shot with my 60mm AF-D.

Had to add this one because it's my first show winner. 1st place intermediate traditional macro at the Monterey Shoot-out. Great shot of the snail, really nice. Congrats on the Shootout win, maybe next year we can make the shootout.
