According to Scuba Travel.....:D

Yongala, Australia
Blue Corner Wall, Palau, Micronesia
Thistlegorm, Egyptian Red Sea
Barracuda Point, Sipadan Island
Shark and Yolanda Reef, Egyptian Red Sea
Navy Pier, Western Australia
Manta Ray Night Dive, Kailua Kona, Hawaii
Elphinstone Reef, Egyptian Red Sea
Richelieu Rock, Thailand
Great Blue Hole, Belize

Richelieu Rock is certainly an amazing dive. It's the only one on the list I've done, but it's really worth it.

Top Ten, according to some magazine

Does this mean... what? The top ten most recognized names by people who want to go to one or more of them?

To put the "Great" Blue Hole of Belize in the same category as the others is all cattywampus.

More magazine crapola.

Any list with the blue hole is suspect.

Maybe its the top ten dive sites that spend the most in advertising with our publication.

That is certainly the way it works with that "other one"!

I can think of a lot more places better than some they listed. Belize would not show up on my list.
Take a look at the top 100.Cozumel came in 50th.

I'm surprised Galapagos and Cocos didn't make it in the list...

I'm thinking a little south Pacific bias looking @ us here.......would like to see where these people have been to create their 'list'.......Bloody Bay Wall got my attention this past July.....

yep...I quit going to Belize in '89 & it wasn't cause the weather was bad....I'm thinking they really don't know much about their 'specialty' ie traveling......

Hmmm....if your complaint is that Cozumel should be higher on the list than anything in Belize, then either you didn't dive the same Cozumel as I did, or you didn't dive the same Belize....

Granted, the Blue Hole would not be the Belize site I would choose....The Elbow was much more my style....

The magazine is based in the UK.... and from the people from the UK that I have met, all have done the Red Sea, very few have done the Caribbean. It is just as far to go to the Pacific for them as it is to go to the Caribbean. So with that in mind, the magazine refects the experience of its readers.
