I hate to brag but I must, so please excuse me.

Diving with a creature is vastly different than being at one with the creature(s) in question. If you do things right you can gain much more than the mere act of seeing them,

Case in point! Swimming WITH a pod of dolphins is vastly different than swimming IN a pod of dolphins and being accepted as an equal.

here we go.... time for serious memory retrieval

Top 10 dived with so far:
1. Minke Whales (mumma and bubba off Far North Queensland)
2. Manta Ray
3. Bull Sharks
4. Grey Nurse Sharks (about 12 of them, several years ago off Maroubra)
5. Giant Queensland Groupers near Lizard Island.
6. Giant Moray Eel (about 3.5 metres!)
7. Flame file shell
8. Weedy seadragons
9. Clown fish who nibbled on my pinky (love bites!)
10. the Little cling fish that lives in the middle of Feather Stars!

Top 10 Desirables:
1. Whale Shark
2. Great White Shark
3. Mandarin Fish
4. Tiger Shark
5. .... gee... 'ive been pretty spoilt, can't think of many other things I have not yet seen...

Top 12 (ok, so I couldn't narrow them down anymore, and there's SO many more that I could have added) dove with so far (in no order):

1) seals
2) Trumpetfish
3) Hawksbill Turtle
4) Queen Angel (VERY beautiful)
5) Wolf Eel (swimming in open)
6) spotted moray (swimming in open)
7) ratfish
8) Flying Gunnard
9) Honeycomb cowfish
10) Spanish hogfish
11) Reef Sharks
12) Nurse Shark

Would love to see:
1) Manta Rays
2) whale shark
3) China Rockfish
4) Decorated Warbonnet

3) the reef at the South end of Gedney Island is infested with them.

4) three of them share space in a pipe at the North end of the Honey Bear (Seacrest at Alki.)
