Diversnight started in Norway in 2005. The purpose of Diversnight is to promote the sport of scuba diving, to bring together scuba diving communities from all over the world, and to show how exciting and adventurous this activity is -during any season and any time of day.

The aim of Diversnight is to have as many divers as possible under water at 20:13 local time. There's 187 registered sites in 24 countries. Are you going? If not, why not organize Diversnight at your favorite site next year?

Registration is closed for this year, but dont let that stop you from doing "Diversnight".
Bake a cake, and go diving!

Next year it will happen again! Will you take part?

I'm unfortunately not going to make it, although several dive shops and clubs will be out at Long Beach in Simon's Town, Cape Town, South Africa tonight. I just have too much to do at work, I won't be able to escape in time to get my kit together and drive out there. The weather here's looking pretty good for the dive: a little overcast, a little bit of swell, but the wind should drop off and there've been reports of good vis. Hopefully everyone diving here has a good time.
